Vannessa A Kaufman

Vannessa Kaufman, Senior Global Real Estate Advisor and Associate Broker, joined Sotheby’s International Realty in 2009. Since her affiliation with Sotheby’s International Realty, Vannessa and her team have ranked in the top 50 amongst the country’s top 1,400 teams and personally in the top 5 of the Upper East Side office in Manhattan. Her dedication to the real estate profession during the most challenging economic climate in a generation has served her and her clients very well.

Vannessa was president and founder of the esteemed high end boutique firm Andrew Emmet & Co., which she named after her two sons.

Over the past 25 years, Vannessa has been one of New York’s premier real estate brokers for top-tier living. She has represented affluent families, the financial community, corporations and celebrities with co-ops, condominiums and townhouses throughout Manhattan.

Brigitte Goldenberg

Brigitte Goldenberg brings to the Vannessa Kaufman Team at Sotheby’s International Realty over 15 years of real estate experience.  She started as a buyer’s broker at Andrew Emmet & Co, a boutique real estate firm, she joined Sotheby’s International Realty where she has expanded her reach to the Global market.

Far more than the typical agent, Brigitte is known for cultivating long-term relationships with her clients through a dedicated, discrete and exceptionally service-oriented approach. Her energy, candor and passion for fulfilling a client’s lifestyle needs through the purchase of a home at all price levels set her apart from the competition.

Besides her strong sales skills, she is an expert in the fast paced rental market and through her professional relationships with the most prominent owners and her advance knowledge of the industry activity and building development she has cultivated an ever growing referrals network.

Born and raised in Paris, with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, she possesses excellent interpersonal skills and an ease with a multicultural range of clients.

An early career as the co-owner of a fashion company also contributes to her innate understanding of the tastes and desires of her international roster of clients. As a result, her business has grown significantly over the years from referrals and repeat customers.

A New York resident for more than 30 years, she has a deep knowledge of the market with a specialty in both sales and rentals throughout Manhattan.

Ryan Gribbon

Ryan Gribbon is a licensed real estate salesperson on Vannessa Kaufman Team, ranked in the top 50 amongst the country’s top 1,400 teams and one of the top 5 producing sales teams of the Upper East Side office.

Ryan has been a part of Sotheby’s International Realty since 2012, serving as a marketing and listing coordinator for the Penny Yerks Team in Northern Virginia.  The Penny Yerks Team achieved more than $100 million in sales in both 2012 and 2013 during Ryan’s tenure, serving buyers and sellers in Northern Virginia and Washington D.C.

Ryan is delighted to have joined Sotheby’s International Realty in Manhattan to apply her talents and work experience to the New York City real estate market.  She is eager to represent her network of clients in their next real estate endeavors, whether buying or selling.  Ryan graduated from Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Education.  She current resides in the East Village.

Serina Yamada

Serina Yamada is a licensed real estate salesperson on the Vannessa A. Kaufman Team, which is ranked in the top 50 among the nation’s top 1,400 teams and is also one of the top 5 producing sales teams at the company’s Upper East Side brokerage. Serina is actively involved in all aspects of the team’s business with a special focus on marketing and branding.

Serina has been exposed to real estate from a young age. Her family has been in the real estate business for over 50 years and established a solid international reputation from construction, development, and leasing to real estate investments.

Serina is a Certified Buyers Representative (CBR) who takes pleasure in finding properties that accurately match the wishes of every buyer, seller, or renter. Whether you are looking for a penthouse sale or a studio rental, Serina provides the same high level of professionalism and attention on every deal. She understands the personal, emotional and financial considerations of her clients, and has the right background experience to guide them confidently and successfully through each transaction. She is also a notary public in the State of New York.

Serina was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised in Kobe, Japan. She was educated in Japan, Switzerland, and England, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Design and Management from Parsons The New School of Design. She is fluent in English and Japanese and also speaks conversational French. Serina currently resides in Chelsea.

Jing Yang

Jing Yang is a licensed real estate salesperson on the Vannessa Kaufman Team, ranked in the top 50 among the nation’s top 1,400 teams. With experience in both Miami and her native city Shanghai, Jing brings a fresh approach and unique skillset to the NYC marketplace.

Beyond her prowess in sales, Jing possesses a cogent academic background in real estate, holding a Bachelor’s in Real Estate Management as well as a Master’s in Real Estate Finance.  She was drawn to real estate at an early age, which led her to pursuing her degree at East China Normal University in Shanghai. Since then, she has worked for a renowned Chinese developer, a London based investment immigration firm, and an American real estate private equity firm.

Jing’s analytical rigor and commitment to obtaining a sophisticated understanding of real estate, led her to obtain her ARGUS certification. She is dual licensed in both Florida and New York.  Her diverse experience has contributed to her nuanced understanding of buyers and investors across all price points.  In dealing with clients, you can always expect a consultative approach with an exceptional level of professionalism combined with her outgoing personality.
